LocalReg ("we") operates an independent citation and verification register for local service businesses in the UK. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

Data we collect

• Public business citation details (name, address, phone, website, category, region).
• Account email and listing edits when you claim or manage a record.
• Claim-interest emails submitted before payments go live (notify-me).
• Basic server logs required to operate and secure the service.

How we use data

To publish citation records, process claims, send transactional email (sign-in codes, claim confirmations), improve the register, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Processors

We use infrastructure providers such as Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database/auth), Resend (email), and — when activated — Lemon Squeezy (payments as merchant of record).
